3 Naga students feared drowned in Goa

Three students from Nagaland -- two boys and a girl -- were feared drowned off Colva beach.

PANAJI: Three students from Nagaland -- two boys and a girl -- were feared drowned off Colva beach.
 
Police said 49 students and five from the Agriculture University in Nagaland who were on an all-India tour, arrived in Goa on December 30 and were staying at Vasco da Gama.
  
The group visited the beach on Monday and few students entered the water for a swim. Three of them were washed away by the current and are feared drowned, police said.
 
The students have been identified as Vilasietuo (21), Zaiamo (22), and the girl, Ajungla (23).
 
The police, with the help of the Coast Guard, is continuing a search for the missing students.
 
The group was to leave for Nagaland on Monday evening.
