Kidnapped boy's body recovered

LUCKNOW: Four days after 14-year-old Ankit was kidnapped from his colony, police on Tuesday recovered his body from Barabanki district of the state.

Ankit Vishwakarma's body was recovered from near Dewan town this morning, poice said.

Ankit, the son of an employee at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science, had allegedly been kidnapped from the Eldeco Udyan colony on Friday evening.

Though Ankit's father had claimed that he had been kidnapped and that he had received three phone calls demanding a ransom of Rs five lakh, police did not confirm it.
