Music director Dilip Sen arrested

Police arrested Sen from his Andheri residence after a non-bailbale warrant was issued against him by a Jharkhand court.

MUMBAI: The Oshiwara police on Wednesday arrested Bollywood music director Dilip Sen at 6pm from his Andheri residence after a non-bailbale warrant was issued against him by a Jharkhand Consumer Court.

According to the warrant, Dilip Sen is liable to pay Rs 2.5 lakhs to the organisers of the show which they organised in 2003 in Jharkhand. Dilip Patil, senior police inspector, told DNA, “The matter is a consumer case. According to the court’s order, we have arrested him. He will be produced in Borivali court on Thursday.”
