JAKARTA: Six Indians were held by immigration authorities here for rigging their temporary stay permits, Law and Human Rights Minister Hamid Awaluddin said.

At a function organised by the Indonesian Advocates Association on Thursday, the minister said that the immigration officials at the Soekarno-Hatta airport arrested six Indian nationals, whom they suspected of possessing fake documents.

The people arrested had entered the country by using the visa on arrival facility and were being interrogated by the authorities, he added. -- ANTARA
