MILAN: Chelsea's Argentine international striker Hernan Crespo has signed a two-year deal with Serie A side Inter Milan, the Italian club confirmed on Monday.
Crespo, who had two years left on his contract with Chelsea, has moved on a free transfer with the English champions having the option to take him back to Stamford Bridge after one season.
The 31-year-old recently acquired Italian citizenship and owns a house on the outskirts of Milan.
Chelsea signed Crespo from Inter for 24.9 million euros in August 2003 but he failed to hold down a regular first team place and complained about missing Italy. He previously played for Parma, Lazio and AC Milan.
