NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday moved the Delhi High Court seeking an early hearing of the appeal in the sensational Priyadarshini Mattoo murder case.

A division bench of Justice R S Sodhi and Justice P K Bhasin posted the matter for further hearing to August, 31, 2006.

Appearing for the CBI, additional Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam told the court that the agency had completed the translation of the trail court proceddings and was willing to proceed with the appeal hearing.
