ISLAMABAD: Pakistan would continue its policy of raising Kashmir issue in various international fora to pressure India to remain engaged to resolve it, its Foreign Minister Khurshid M Kasuri has said.

Pakistan will not change its Kashmir policy after India postponed the talks between the foreign secretaries scheduled for July 21-22, Kasuri has told the Pakistan's Parliament Committee on Kashmir. The talks were posptponed following the Mumbai train blasts.

Kasuri said Pakistan would continue to pressure India to sit on the dialogue table by raising the issue at international fora, Daily Times reported today.

Pakistan would tell every international forum that it was ready to continue the peace talks initiated between the two countries under the composite dialogue process but India
did not reciprocate, Kasuri reportedly told the Committee.

State-run APP newsagency said Kasuri said that Pakistan and India should continue to remain engaged to resolve Kashmir issue, despite the recent postponement of the Foreign Secretary-level talks and hoped the process of composite dialogue would be resumed soon.

On developments in Indo-Pak relations with particular reference to Kashmir issue and the status of ties in the wake of Mumbai blasts, he voiced confidence that the two countries would remain engaged to resolve it.

Members of the Committee expressed their anguish over what they called baseless charges levelled against Pakistan by India after the tragic terrorist incidents in
Mumbai.

They regretted the Indian decision to postpone talks, and hoped that the peace process would resume soon.
