MUMBAI: Nearly 350 persons —mostly members of SIMI — have been detained for questioning by police.

Since Wednesday, police have raided several hotels and suspected hideouts of SIMI activists. Most of them were held in Malad and Malvani but no arrests were made, ATS chief KP Raghuvanshi said.

Police Commissioner AN Roy said sketches of four suspects, who might have planted bombs, have been prepared on the basis of information gathered from eyewitnesses and will be distributed to all units of the crime branch and the ATS.
