NEW DELHI: Leading private bank HDFC Bank has found a place in the prestigious Limca Book of Records for opening 14 branches in a single day in the National Capital Region.

 

"We are proud that the Limca Book of Records in their 2006 edition have acknowledged this new record of the maximum number of bank branches being inaugurated on a single day in one city - NCR," said Seshan Ramakrishnan, North Region Business Manager, in a statement.

 

HDFC Bank has a network of 535 branches and 1,323 ATMs across 228 cities in India.
