Manmohan Singh in city on June 21

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will inaugurate Phase-I of the Ghatk-opar-Versova metro rail project on June 21.

Singh will lay the foundation stone at Ghakopar and thereafter he will move to Shanmukhanad hall for the inaugural speech.

The 12km metro rail will have state-of-the-art stations with three levels and special provisions for physically challenged passengers that will improve the quality of travel and reduce travel time.
