Mika's bodyguard, friend in police custody

The Bandra holiday metropolitan magistrate court on Sunday granted one day police custody to Punjabi singer Mika Singh’s personal bodyguard and friend in connection with an assault and molestation case.

The case was registered by actor Rakhi Sawant. The arrested accused has been identified as Jasvir Singh alias Tiger, bodyguard of Mika and friend Vicky Singh.

The duo was arrested by the police on Sunday after the Sessions court refused them to grant anticipatory bail. The court informed the duo to apply for bail in the regular court. However, the court has granted bail to Mika in the same case.

Mika was booked for molestation and assault by the Oshiwara Police on a complaint lodged by Rakhi Sawant claiming that he kissed her against wishes at his birthday party held on June 10.

Meanwhile, Rakhi alleged that she had been receiving threatening calls and text messages after Mika got anticipatory bail on Saturday.

“The caller said he we will fix me for the problems I have created for Mika,” Rakhi said on Sunday. She added that she had informed the police about the same. “It is quite scary. I am concerned about my safety,” Rakhi said.
