HSC student commits suicide

An 18-year-old youth, who failed his Higher Secondary Certificate examinations, committed suicide by jumping before a train at Ambernath on Monday.

MUMBAI: An 18-year-old youth, who failed his Higher Secondary Certificate examinations, committed suicide by jumping before a train at Ambernath on Monday.
  
Vaibhav Murbadkar, who had gone to college in Ambernath to collect his result, was depressed on finding that he had failed in two subjects.
 
He called up neighbours from a telephone booth, requesting that his parents be informed that he would not come home.
  
The youth flung himself before the Deccan Queen train.
 
Police found a suicide note from him, stating that he was committing suicide as he had failed.
