NEW DELHI: President APJ Abdul Kalam doesn’t like taking breaks. This summer when people from the Capital are fleeing off to cooler climates, President Kalam has decided to stay put in Delhi. To beat the heat, Kalam spends time at the bio-diversity park situated within the premises of the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

“The President likes to sit by the pond at the bio-diversity park and feed the ducks and other birds and animals there. There are parakeets, deer, rabbits and turkeys at the park and it’s interesting how all these animals and birds live together in harmony. President Kalam’s enjoys spending time amongst them,” says a Rasthrapati Bhawan source.

The President, a trendsetter, who likes to do things differently, has refused to go on a break since he assumed Presidential office four years ago.
