Borivili Camp edged out Malad Camp 1-0 to annex the 20th Bipin Memorial Football Association Inter-Centre Tournament, at the Sacred Heart school ground, Santa Cruz (west) on Sunday. Tushar Poojary scored the all-important goal in the second session of the game.

MUMBAI: Borivili Camp edged out Malad Camp 1-0 to annex the 20th Bipin Memorial Football Association Inter-Centre Tournament, at the Sacred Heart school ground, Santa Cruz (west) on Sunday. Tushar Poojary scored the all-important goal in the second session of the game.

His effort and consistent play in the league-cum-knockout event fetched him the Player of Tournament award and Sanjiva Utchil Memorial Trophy.

Dr PV Shetty of Payyade Sports Club and Managing Committee member of Mumbai Cricket Association, who was the chief guest, gave away the prizes.Other outstanding players: Forsyth C (Kalyan), Cletuc Chandrasekhar (Chembur), Francis Carmeiro (Andheri), Harsh Mehta (Borivili), Pankaj Valvi (Malad) and Vinay P (Mira Road).
