‘How stupid do you have to be?’

MELBOURNE: Shane Warne’s latest indiscretion has prompted his now divorced wife to thank her stars that she separated from the “serial cheater” at the right time. Warne was front page news in the UK on the weekend after being photographed by a hidden camera almost naked with two buxom British models.

Speaking about her ex-husband’s latest indiscretion, Simone seemed happy to finally distance herself from the serial cheater.

“I’m disappointed in him, that’s about it really,” she was quoted as saying in the media on Wednesday. She said Warne was stupid for falling for the obvious ploy. “Obviously it was a set-up, but how stupid do you have to be not to see that?”

While the Warnes were still living together in their Melbourne home less than a month ago when the spin king moved to London to start his English county cricket season, the single mum said she was yet to receive the courtesy of an explanatory phone call since news of his latest scandal broke at the weekend.

“I haven’t heard from him,” she said. “Even though the living arrangements might have been strange to people being in the house together, it was the best move to be with the kids.”

She said she was looking forward to her new home being built so she could live separately from the cricketer. “I can’t wait to move in,” she said.
