On the eve of her birthday, Mandira Bedi received an exotic token - a Tibetan Om tattoo - gifted to her by family friend Ronnie.

The actor gets a Tibetan Om tattoo as her birthday gift

The diva of all things glamorous, actor and anchor Mandira Bedi, spent her birthday with close friends this weekend. On the eve of her birthday, Mandira received an exotic token - a Tibetan Om tattoo - gifted to her by family friend Ronnie. Incidentally, he even lives with the couple.

Mandira says, “It was all Ronnie’s idea, right from suggesting it, to taking an appointment at the parlour and then holding my hand through it.” Mandira explains, “The Om tattoo is around my lower-waist and so my belly button acts as the chandra bindu (dot) above it.”

What does Raj have to say about this sacred adornment? Mandira points, “In fact, Raj has a similar Om tattoo on his neck - like a pendant.” When quizzed about what was Raj’s gift to her, she said, “He has spent nine months in helping me acquire a property I desperately wanted to own, be it from consulting the lawyers to its owners.”

This sure seems a sacred and secure celebration for Mandira!
