Special trains to clear Diwali rush

Railways has decided to run special trains from Pune to Indore and Nagpur to clear passenger rush during Diwali.

Pune-Indore special (01109) will leave Pune at 1950 hrs on November 1 and arrive at Indore at 1530 hrs on November 2. The bookings will start on October 31. The train will comprise 8 second class reserved coaches, 1 III Tier AC, 1 general second class coach and 2 SLR coaches. The train will halt at Lonavla, Karjat, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Ujjain and Dewas.

The Nagpur–Pune superfast (01203) will leave Nagpur at 1300 hrs every Monday on November 4 and November 11 and arrive at Pune at 0405 hrs the next day. Pune-Nagpur superfast special train (01204) will leave Pune at 1415 hrs every Tuesday on November 5 and November 12 and arrive at Nagpur at 0620 hrs the next day.

These trains will halt at Wardha, Badnera, Bhusawal, Manmad, Ahmednagar, and Daund. These trains will have One AC-2 tier, One AC-3 tier, 11 sleeper class, 3 General second class and 2 General Second Class.
