Pune: MNS chief Raj Thackeray will launch his election campaign in Pune with a public rally on the occasion Gudi Padwa, it is likely that he will not attack Gujarat chief minister, Narendra Modi. 
Thackeray though is expected to come down heavily on Congress-NCP for its overall failure in its governance and for nominating Vishwajeet Kadam as it’s candidate, party sources said.
Thackeray will be addressing two public rallies for MNS Pune candidate, Deepak Paygude on Monday afternoon.
The rally will be held at Deccan Gymkhana, riverside road,. Thackeray will be arriving at the venue at 7 pm. 
He will also be addressing two more public rallies on April 6; one for Paygude and another for Shirur MNS candidate Ashok Khandebharad. Party insiders also highlight that he would come down heavily on Congress-NCP and its candidate by highlighting the issue of outsider and use of money power in this election.
Thackeray will be addressing a public rally for Khandebharad at Junnar on April 1, while he will be addressing public rallies in Mumbai on April 2, 3, 4 for MNS candidates Pramod (Raju) Patil, actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar and Abhijeet Panse. 
These rallies would be held at Mhatre Sports Complex at Dombivli, Azad Maidan and Gharonda Maidan at Ghansoli. 
He would address two public rallies on April 5 at Nashik one at Ghoti and the other at Cidco for MNS candidate Dr Pradeep Pawar. He would address a public rally at Yavatmal on April 7, which will mark the end of the first phase of campaign for Raju Patil Raje.
