Woman falls from 8th floor Mumbai flat, dies

Surekha Pradhan, 52, fell to her death while cleaning a window of her eighth floor flat on Sunday evening. Pradhan was a resident of Raheja Acropolis Arena in Chembur.

Initially, the police assumed she had committed suicide, but after investigations they found that it was an accident.

“Neighbours rushed her to a nearby hospital, but she was declared dead by the doctors. We have registered a case of accidental case,” said an officer from Trombay police station. Pradhan is survived by her businessman husband, who was at home at the time of the incident, and a daughter, who is studying in Sweden.
