Veteran freedom fighter Jagannath Agarkar passes away

Veteran freedom fighter and senior RSS leader Jagannath Agarkar passed away following cardiac arrest, family sources said today.

He was 86 and is survived by wife Parvati, five sons and a daughter.

Agarkar played a role in Chale Jao movement in 1942 and later joined the RSS.

BJP president Nitin Gadkari, MP Gopinath Munde, state BJP chief Sudhir Mungantiwar paid their condolences, they added.
