Ustad Zakir Hussain concert on Jan 26 in Pune

‘T’ Foundation, ‘Infinity Events’ and ‘Apple Events Media’, Pune’s foremost event production companies have scheduled a fusion concert titled Urja featuring  legendary tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain. The concert is scheduled on January 26 at Shubham Garden, Walhekar Road, Chinchwad Road. 

The concert will also feature international performers like Taufiq Qureshi on percussion and drum, Pt Niladri Kumar on sitar and Dilshad Khan on sarangi. 

The two-and-a-half hour musical extravaganza will be a treat to the audience of Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Ustad Zakir Hussain will be performing in Pimpri-Chinchwad after almost a decade, claimed the organiser in the press release. 

The tickets are priced at Rs2,000, Rs1,000, Rs500 and Rs300. The tickets are available from January 15 at Ramkrishna More Sabhagruha, Natural Ice Cream parlour (Chinchwad), Ply Decor, ABC Plaza, near Cafe; Coffee Day, Bhel Chowk, (Pradhikaran), Balgandharva Rangmandir and Yashwantrao Chavan auditorium.
