Thane introduces online application system

The district administration has announced introduction of an online system for applying for various certificates in the revenue department.

Collector Abasheb Jarhad announced the launch of the system yesterday.

Thane district was first in the state to introduce this dedicated system, called Indradhanu, in which citizens can apply for documents and certificates online, he said.

The documents will be issued within a period of three days. But the issuance of caste certificates will take seven days as it involved verification by certain officials, the district collector said.
