"People killed at Chabad House were here to spread kindness and goodness. It is for all countries in the world to stand up and say this will never happen," said Rabbi Avraham Berkowitz, director, Chabad Mumbai Relief Fund.

Mark Sopher, ambassador of Israel, said, "People who did such acts have abused religion and have disgraced Islam. The state of Israel never forgets [such incidents] and we will leave no stone unturned. Anti-Semitism is unknown to Indians and we share common things with the country. Israeli tourists should come in larger numbers here."
The ambassador of Germany, deputy British high commissioner and diplomats of various countries were present at the service. However, the high profile Indian dignitaries were conspicuously missing.
