Pune girl ends life, ‘boyfriend’ booked

The Vishrantwadi police have booked Vinod Kamble for abetment to suicide of Gazal Ezaz Patel (17) in Wadmukhwadi on the Pune-Alandi Road on Wednesday.

The victim’s mother Shahin Ezaz Patel (37) of Pandavnagar, Bhosari, filed a complaint with the Vishrantwadi police.
According to the police, the deceased was a standard XII student at a Bhosari-based college.

According to the complaint, Kamble had allegedly molested Gazal three years ago. Shahin at that time had not lodged a police complaint, but had warned the suspect to not meet Gazal again.
Later, Kamble allegedly developed friendship with Gazal, and the latter fell in love with him.

However, Kamble befriended another girl and both used to meet the victim.
