PCMC starts helpline for voters

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) election department has started a helpline to answer queries of citizens about the voters’ list. Citizens can call 67339933 or 67339933 for queries.

“The helpline would also enable the electorate to know their poll booth and number in the voters’ list,’’ PCMC officials added. The helpline will be functional from 10 am to 5 pm on all working days.
There are four assembly constituencies in PCMC limits — Bhor, Pimpri, Chinchwad and Bhosari.

If a person’s name does not appear in the list, he should contact the electoral registration officers of the assembly constituency in which he resides, to enroll his name. The person can also make the desired changes in the name and address, civic officials said.
