Bhusewar was arrested after accused Nana Pawar, who is police custody, revealed that he had sold the stolen firearm to the latter.
According to the Pusad police, the pistol must be the same which was stolen from RFO of Kinwat.
A pistol was provided to the Forest Department of Kinwat in Nanded district by the Aurangabad Forest Division, they said adding the firearm was in the custody of the then RFO of Kinwat.
The pistol was stolen from his possession and the RFO was suspended from service on the same ground, they added.
