Governor K Sankaranarayanan launched 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda in Mumbai releasing books containing the spiritual leader’s thoughts and message.
The books, written in Marathi and Hindi, were released at an event organised by Ramakrishna Mission at its ashram in Khar.
During his speech, Sankarnarayanan urged youngsters to read at least one book containing Swami Vivekanananda’s message and work towards nation building.
Chandivali resident tests positive for H1N1
A 33-year-old lady from Chandivali was reported to be positive for swine flu on Monday taking the total number of H1N1 cases in the city to 284 since January.
The patient is now being treated with Tamiflu and is stable, BMC officials informed.
