MNS criticism exposes Raj Thackeray's ignorance: NCP

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray’s criticism against NCP president Sharad Pawar has evoked sharp reaction from the party. The NCP spokesperson Prakash Bhinsale said, " Thackeray’s statement exposed his ignorance about the state. Every body who has remote idea about Maharashtra knows the great contribution of Sharad Pawar in development of Maharashtra."

Pawar pioneered social engineering through renaming of Marathwada University as Babasaheb Ambedkar University, emancipation of women in electoral politics by giving them 50% reservation in local bodies elections or agriculture and horticulture development.

He was amongst the first leader who has foresight about Information and Technology sector which he promoted in state. His vision in upliftment of farmers through innovative agriculture system is well known.
