Maharashtra's first evening court inaugurated in Aurangabad

The court would be functioning from 6pm to 8pm. Senior lawyer KU Nikam inaugurated the court. District judges TV Nalawade and RR Gandhi and CJM P A Khillare were also present.

The first evening court in the state was inaugurated in Aurangabad today.

The court would be functioning from 6pm to 8pm. Senior lawyer KU Nikam inaugurated the court. District judges TV Nalawade and RR Gandhi and CJM P A Khillare were also present.

RR Gandhi said, "This is the first ever evening court in the state and its functioning would help to solve the pending cases. Initially, the cases run under the negotiable instrument Act (138) would be taken up for hearing in this court."

SG Shette would be looking after the cases in the evening court. Civil judge WB Gughane would be the substitute for him.
