Maharashtra BJP today nominated Madhu Chavan and Ashok Mankar for the state Council election scheduled to be held on December 18.
"Chavan from Mumbai and Mankar from Nagpur have both nominated by the party leaders," BJP general secretary Vinod Tawade said here.
Both the names were declared at the state BJP meeting held here to discuss defeat of BJP in the Assembly polls held last month. Gopinath Munde, Nitin Gadkari and Eknath Khadse were present for the meeting.
