Four more suspected cases of swine flu were reported in Maharashtra. And all the persons were quarantined in hospitals in Mumbai and Pune, officials informed on Wednesday.

A 30-year-old man, who went to Greece on June 10 and returned on Sunday, was quarantined at Kasturba Hospital after he complained of cough and fever.
The hospital admitted a 24-year-old Mumbai resident who had been to Singapore and Malaysia from May 30 to June 22. He had complained of mild breathlessness and headache.

A 29-year-old resident of Pune who returned from the United States of America on Wednesday morning and a 38-year-old resident from Pune, who had been to Singapore from June 14 to 19, were admitted to Naidu Hospital in Pune.

Both the patients had complained of headache, sore throat, cough and fever.

“Throat swabs of all the four admitted have been sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune along with those of two others who were admitted on Tuesday,” said Dr U Gawande, in-charge of swine flu in the state.

Three persons, were quarantined in Pune and Nagpur on Tuesday.
