According to police, Neema Lulla, working as superviser with a private airline, was heading towards Borivli. Her car brushed against an autorickshaw near Meeth Chowkie in Malad (West).

A traffic constable on duty forced her to stop, after which she alighted and started abusing him. She even pushed him around.

“She was under the influence of alcohol and abusing me so I immediately informed the control room. A team from the Bangur Nagar police station quickly reached the spot," said the constable Prakash Kadam.

“A lady constable nabbed her and she was brought to the police station where she created a ruckus by abusing the policemen,” added constable Chavan, an eye witness.

"Lulla was sent for a medical examination. As per the medical report, she was charged with drunk driving," said a police officer of the Bangur Nagar police station.

Senior Inspector Vinayak Mule of the Malad traffic police station added, “She was abusing all the policemen in the police station."
