Briton held with sat phone at airport

The airport police on Monday arrested an English woman for allegedly possessing a satellite phone, a device which can be brought only with special permission.

Rebeca Harris, 44, who is employed with Burnnight Bright Company in the UK, was on her way to Bhuj for carrying out her research work. She was intercepted by the security agencies at Mumbai airport while boarding an Air India flight to Bhuj. Police officials said Harris had arrived in Mumbai from Muscat on a Jet Airways flight on the same day. She was arrested and later released on bail.
