In an incident of road rage, a property developer and a businessman were stabbed by a biker and his father in Kandivli on Monday night.

According to the police, the incident occurred at around mid-night when the victims - Vijay Khorasia, 25, a property developer and 23-year-old businessman Hitesh Nathu Bhai Baria were returning home after having dinner.
While they were nearing their building, a bike brushed past them. Immediately, they screamed at the speeding bike. On hearing them, the biker Dipesh alias Danny Rajbhare, 32, and his father Rajnikant Rajbhare, 55, who was ridding pillion stopped the bike and confronted the victims.
“Khorasia then asked Danny to ride the bike properly and thus resulted in an argument. An angry Danny then abused them and asked them to wait for 5 minutes,” said senior police inspector, Suryakant Ghatge of the Kandivli police station.
Danny’s daughter was with him, so he dropped her home and returned to spot with a knife, his father also followed him. “The victims, who by then had started walking towards their building, were shocked to see Danny. And before they realised what was happening, Danny stabbed Baria in his abdomen and attacked Khorasia’s ribs, while Danny’s father caught hold of Khorasia,” a police officer said.
“The victims are now out of danger and we have arrested Danny and his father on charges of attempted murder,” said Ghatge.
