The war kicked off between Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) does not seem to be getting over any sooner.

On the occassion of entry of one of the directors of Mumbai District cooperative bank and NCP leader Shivaji Nalawade at Shanmukhananda Hall on Wednesday, MNS chief Raj Thackeray attacked NCP in general and deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar in particular.

"NCP's slogan is 'sell every inch of land in the city. Such is the land grabbing of these leaders, that people are scared to even show their land to them. Once they see the land, they jump on it and grab it," blasted Thackeray.

Mimicking Ajit Pawar, he said, "He had said what do i know about farmers and farming in Maharashtra by sitting in Mumbai. When he can calculate per square feet rate of lands in Pune and Mumbai, I can also know everything about farming."

He also taunted him saying, finding a problem and offering a solution is my work, but travelling in helicopter and identifying lands to grab is his work.

Thackeray accused NCP for the destruction of co-operative sector in the state, saying a handful in this state have the total control of money and the profit is not distributed evenly."

After the assault from MNS chief, the war of words between two leaders is bound to heat up.

Nalawade, who had contested assembly election from NCP, was made the president of newly formed co-operative branch of the party.
