The Phoenix Market City mall in Kurla, Mumbai, has introduced a new addition specifically for children called 'Happy Planet'.
Happy Planet is the new crèche on hand that takes care of your child, while you explore the rest of the mall. "We have always wanted to create a zone where kids can let themselves lose, try newer things without having their parents worry," says Nimish Kenia, co-owner of Happy Planet.
Happy Planet has more than 20 activities to choose from. "The aspect of physical play is essential in a child’s development and Happy Planet recognizes this need and addresses the same through its different zones," says Kenia. He adds, "In today’s world where kids are confined to gadgets and video-games, Happy Planet is a refreshing change wherein kids can express themselves in a safe indoor comfortable environment." Children will be greeted and entertained by its mascots - Smilo, Mini, Rocky, Bouncy, Geeko, Piro and Candy.
Safety is a high priority at Happy Planet. "Having kids of our own, we know how important safety is to them, and hence we have made that a top priority when designing this space," Kenia says.
Every zone at Happy Planet is manned by specially trained child minders to ensure a smooth experience. The children are guided and helped at every stage as they play in any of the zones. "They are trained to take care and assist the kids on the challenges of the obstacles in Rocky’s adventure zone, whether it is rock climbing or the aerial adventure course."
Parents are welcome to be a part of every zone and activity to oversee their children or even participate in the activities themselves.

Human bowl: is an innovative spin on the usual game of bowling, where as you'll see in the picture the children have an interactive experince playing the game.
ROCKY'S ADVENTURE ZONE
Rocky’s Adventure Zone was created with the main objective to ensure the children develop their motor skills and concentration levels. "The adventure zone has a challenging aerial adventure course wherein kids do an elevated rope walk bypassing different obstacles on the way.
