Look into PK content, Maharashtra government tells police

After protests erupted against Aamir Khan-starrer PK in several states, the Maharashtra government has asked the police to look into the content of the movie.

Additional director general of police Deven Bharti has been asked to look into the objectionable content that may cause law and order problem in the state. "I have instructed additional DGP Deven Bharti to look into complaints from several individuals and organisations against the film," said minister of state for home Ram Shinde.

When contacted, Bharti said: "I have been informed orally and am awaiting a written order for scope and reference of the enquiry."
