In order to make people more conscious and responsible towards environment, dna eco-Ganesha initiative will organise a Juhu beach clean-up drive at 6am on September 28.

dna invites all its readers to join the Juhu beach clean-up drive. After the immersion of idols, the beach needs to be cleared of the waste materials left behind. Most of the waste material like the idols made of Plaster of Paris, plastic bags, synthetic garlands are not biodegradable and therefore they pollute the sea and affect marine life if left like that.

Like every year, this year too a lot of people are coming out to keep the environment clean and have bought eco-friendly Ganesh idols. To add to this endeavour, it is very necessary that such ha clean-up drive carried out.
The participants in this initiative will not only include dna readers but also volunteers from Juhu Angel and Green Yatra and Juhu Souls, the NGO partners.

With a pledge to keep the beaches clean through the 'Eco Ganesha Beach Clean-up drive', dna appeals to one and all to join the endeavour.
