Vinay Apte, a well known marathi actor and known for his role in Satyagraha (2013), Aarakshan (2011) and Chandni Bar (2001), breathed his last on December 7, 2013. He was 62.
Apte, who was suffering from low blood pressure, passed away after his heart started to pulse down.
"Mr Vinay Apte was admitted to the hospital yesterday at 8.24 pm. He died today at 5.45 pm. The cause of his death is multiple organ failure and secondary to acute coronary syndrome," Dr Ram Narain, COO of Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, told PTI.
He has also acted in television serials like Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Adalat and in the Marathi soap Durva.
Girish Kuber, editor of Loksatta, took on to twitter to voice his condolence.
