IAS, IPS officers reshuffled

Khandare will now be the additional metropolitan commissioner of MMRDA. Khandare will be replaced by Ranjit Singh Deol, who was the Commissioner of Social Welfare, Pune. Sham Lal Goyal has been posted as Principal Secretary and Chief Enquiry Officer, General Administration Department, Mantralaya.

The state government on Saturday effected a reshuffle of IAS officers, transferring eight bureaucrats, including Sanjay Khandare, the vice-chairman and managing director of the state transport corporation.

Khandare will now be the additional metropolitan commissioner of MMRDA. Khandare will be replaced by Ranjit Singh Deol, who was the Commissioner of Social Welfare, Pune. Sham Lal Goyal has been posted as Principal Secretary and Chief Enquiry Officer, General Administration Department, Mantralaya.

VM Patil, MD, Maharashtra State Fisheries Corporation, Mumbai has been posted as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Maharashtra Airport Development Company, Mumbai. SM Lokhande, Chief Executive of Zilla Parishad Sangli has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation.

Arun Vidhale (Additional Collector), Chief Surveyor, Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, Mumbai has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Sangli.

Meanwhile three senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers were also transferred on Saturday. Principal Secretary (Special) in Home Department, B K Upadhyay, has been appointed as the new Additional Director General and Inspector General (Prisons) in Pune. Additional DG (ACB) Rajnish Seth will take up Upadhyay's place as Principal Secretary (Special) in Home Department. Sanjay Pandey, who currently holds the post of Controller of Legal Metrology, has been transferred as Additional DG (Home Guards).
