Jet Airways cuts base fares by 10% for international travel

Private carrier Jet Airways has slashed tickets by 10% across cabin class for travel on international destinations, including the recently-announced flight to Amsterdam, as part of its Christmas and New Year offer to fliers.

The offer is available only to those customers who make bookings through the airline's website and is applicable for a limited period, Jet Airways said in a statement.

Guests can enjoy an attractive 10% savings on base fares for across Jet Airways' international network for first, premiere (business) and economy class, the Mumbai-headquartered airline said.

This special offer is applicable for travel on board Jet Airways-operated international flights from India to destinations across SAARC, ASEAN, Europe, and Canada regions as well as on flights originating from Paris, Canada, Brussels, ASEAN and SAARC regions, and on the airline's newest destination, Amsterdam, it said.

The airline has recently announced shifting of its European gateway to Dutch capital from Brussels from March next year.

"This global festive fare sale offer is a goodwill gesture to our loyal guests while they celebrate the festive season and ring in the New Year, with family and friends," Jet Airways senior vice president for commercial Gaurang Shetty said.
