With an ‘eye’ for fashion

Actor Sameera Reddy talks of her favourite fashion brands and hot spots….

1    I don’t follow trends blindly. For instance, I don’t fancy gladiator heels nor do I have a liking for balloon dresses.

2    Bags, watches and belts make for quality investments. Small clutches that come in bold colours are my favourite. Jimmy choo clutches, Burberry belts and Chanel watches are ideal statement pieces.

3    I have a special liking for printed scarves. I am particularly fond of those that come with leopard prints.

4    Black jackets are must haves as they give you an elegant look. A suede jacket from Chanel is among my top picks.

5    I find myself comfortable in jump suits. I feel layered clothing also makes me look stylish. I have a liking for kaftans too.

6    For formal occasions, especially red carpet events, I stick to gowns. At home you will find me in tracks and tees.

7    When it comes to Indian wear I don’t look beyond Neeta Lulla, Shatanu and Nikhil and Falguni.

8    I am a tall woman so I prefer to wear flats. But heels give you the perfect poise. Ferragamo is my preferred designer label.

9    Dubai is a shopper’s paradise. But it is in New York that you’ll see fashion on the streets. Paris still remains the fashion capital.

10 When it comes to make up, I play around with the eyes. I keep my lashes heavy and go for colourful eye shadows. Coral, orange and red are my choice of lip colours.
