Omega showcased its finest collection of watches here in Bangalore, at UB City, on Thursday. PH Narayana, brand manager, Omega and Sharjeel J, director, Zimson Times Pvt Ltd were present to unveil Omega’s finest jewellery watches.
These watches are not yet up for sale in India, but they have been specially imported from Switzerland to showcase to the public. Orders for these watches will be taken during the showcasing of these watches and upon request, these will be ordered and imported for the customer. Omega decided to have this launch in Bangalore because they feel the cosmopolitan feeling that Bangalore has and the exuberant lifestyle that people lead here makes this city the best place to launch the watches.
Omega’s main clientele has always been the crème de la crème of the society. The prices of these watches range from Rs6 lakhs to Rs24 lakhs. “Instead of investing in gold, silver and other precious metals, we want people to invest in these jewellery watches,” says Narayana.
Omega is the only watch company that offers four years’ warranty to the customers. He adds, “We are offering four years’ warranty on our watches because of the trust that we have in the quality of our watches”. He also spoke about the new technology that Omega is offering. He says, “Helium escape valve, is a feature found on some diving watches. It provides functionality for professional divers operating at great depths for prolonged periods of time or under saturation”.
No brand ambassadors were present for the launch of these watches because “we wanted the watches to be the main focus rather than anyone else” claimed Narayana. Head straight to the Zimson store to take a dekko and place your order.
