Ronaldo, Tamara Ecclestone splash out on supercars despite recession

Cristiano Ronaldo and Tamara Ecclestone, who are apparently oblivious to the recession, took delivery of luxury cars this week.

The Real Madrid footballer purchased a Lamborghini Aventador as a birthday present for himself after turning 27 last week.

He chose his sports car, which retails for around £2,15,000, in an on-trend matte black, and was even pictured having the tank filled at a petrol station in Madrid on Friday.

Meanwhile, the F1 heiress, who is the proud owner of a brand new Bentley, was spotted admiring her new wheels in London this week.

The car is believed to have been a gift from her boyfriend Omar Khyami.

“The Christmas present Omar got me is coming tonight so excited!” the Daily Mail quoted her as tweeting.

The heiress, who stars in her own reality series Billion $$ Girl, was pictured in ripped jeans and Ugg boots inspecting the white vehicle, which has personalised registration plates.
