Food and romance have always gone hand in hand, be it in literature or films.

It would come as a surprise if you’ve not drooled over those scrumptious noodles while watching In the Mood for Love or haven’t had an instant craving for a sweet rush when the camera zoomed into the delectable desserts in My Blueberry Nights.

With Valentine’s Day approaching, what better time to cuddle up to your lover while watching these movies and treating yourself to some heady aphrodisiac foods!

“Scientific tests have proven that some aromas cause a greater effect on the body than the actual ingestion of foods. And aphrodisiacs have a feel-good factor; they are great stress busters too. They enhance the feeling of pleasure in the body and thus induce feelings of love,” says chef Harmeet Singh Nanda, of the Park hotel in Mumbai.
