His cuts and construction style speak volumes about his work. For designer Gaurav Gupta has worked with prominent designers like Stella McCartney, Hussein Chalayan and Vivienne Westwood.

The designer at a recent couture week in Delhi showcased his collection which was inspired by underwater fairies and mythical creatures, with the music and decor evoking an undersea ambience.

Speaking on his first couture show in India, he says, “I had a lot of fun putting together the collection. We have tried to show fairy-like creatures in a lost forest underwater. I have also used crystal
embellishments and embroidery for a richer look.”

Gaurav was recently in Mumbai to launch his couture collection at Aza. He designs for well known Bollywood stars. “I want to change the face of sarees, lehengas rather Indian fashion as a whole.”
