Are intelligent men less fun to be with?

Imagine if we were to scrutinize a guy, mull over and choose whether to fall for him or not…life would have been so much simpler.

A British theory suggested that smart men are less likely to cheat on their wives.

Also, two big US-based surveys concluded that intelligent men are more likely to stay loyal than less intelligent men. No such correlation is drawn in the case of women.

The reason is that women are expected to remain faithful even in a polygamous culture.

But is it just the Intelligence Quotient of a guy that can woo a woman, or is it the fun factor that the woman seeks while risking the loyalty issue?

For television actor Roshni Chopra, loyalty plays a prime part. “I would definitely go for the high IQ guy because loyalty is of utmost importance to me. I really enjoy intellectual conversations and admire people who are faithful.”

Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta says, “There are men who are extremely intelligent but still know how to have fun. Extremely intelligent doesn’t mean you are a nerd where all that the person does is study or work.

And on the flip-side, it also doesn’t mean that men who seem to be a lot of fun won’t be the ones you cannot take home to meet your mother.”

Actor Shilpi Sharma concedes that she likes intelligent men. “I have seen men who are quite a lot of fun and  committed to their partners as well.”
