1. While choosing laminate flooring for your home, keep in mind that the flooring should compliment your existing décor and interior design.
2. One should take time to carefully identify the exact flooring requirements and it will make it easier to select the right kind of laminate flooring that may well last several decades, if properly cared for.
3. One should look for a brand that offers a good residential guarantee towards surface wear off, colour fading and stain resistant floors, if placed in a residential area.
4. Opting for laminate flooring with technologies like anti-static, anti-microbial and sound-block. These make for a perfect choice for high domestic wear areas.
5. Determine how much one is willing to spend on floors and then start to narrow down the choices. Laminate flooring is affordable and highly durable, compared to hard wood flooring.
6. Laminate flooring should be procured and installed through authorised dealer / agency of a trusted brand. Spurious under layers like film, foam and wrong installation may destroy the beauty and function of the product. A trusted brand can only provide before, during and after sales service.
