The new fashionables are free-spirited: Designer Ritu Kumar

Indian fashion designer Ritu Kumar reveals she's impressed by how the new generation doesn’t want to be restricted to anything that’s pre-defined for them.

Kumar believes the young generation of today, have a sense of individualism about fashion. "They are choosing to buy a kurti with a pair of jeans," she says.

Adding, "It's the evolution that is happening, it's something that is not being dictated by anybody."

Kumar believes it is a form of freedom of expression.
