In wake of Rajput community’s anger, the BJP on Wednesday fielded Rajput Yuva Jagriti Manch for counter attack on Rajput Sangharsh Samiti. BJP leader Surendra Singh Shekhawat flanked by Devendra Singh Shekhawat and Jitendra Singh addressed a press conference to put organisations of their own community.
They alleged that the Sangharsh Samiti was constituted to fight for issues including that of gangster Anandpal Singh’s encounter and protest against film Padmavati. “The government responded positively by initiating CBI inquiry in Anandpal Singh’s encounter and banning the film Padmavati,” said Shekhawat. He added that the Sangharsh Samiti is now acting on the behest of Congress. BJP leader and member of Rajasthan Youth Board, Devendra Singh alleged that a few ambitious people operating through social organisations have hijacked Sangharsh Samiti. “They have no right to do so,” he said.
State president Jitendra Singh also advised all social organisation of the community not to indulge in politics. He added that if Anandpal Singh’s family has more demands the Rajput Yuva Jagriti Manch is with them.
